過去年紀輕輕，是孩子心，現在都從事有意義的工作，一起利益人間、是菩薩心。
守本分，為人間奉獻心力，更有緣、有福，走入慈濟，聞法、傳法，同行菩薩道。

一九九九年九二一強震，慈濟為臺灣付出非常多。
感恩現在人人都很平安，面對國際間的天災人禍，
或回饋佛國的弘法利生，慈善工作持續追蹤關懷。
當不請之師，自動付出，一念善心，祈天下平安！

Taking the initiative to contribute without being asked
During the massive earthquake on 21 September 1999,
Tzu Chi contributed immensely to the rescue efforts in Taiwan.
I am filled with gratitude that everyone is now safe.
In the face of international natural and man-made disasters,
Or giving back to Buddha’s birthplace for the propagation of Dharma and benefitting sentient beings,
Charitable work should continue as we trace and care for those in need.
Be someone who takes the initiative to contribute without being asked.
With a thought of goodness, I pray for a peaceful world!

眾生與佛之間，是菩薩道，沒經過菩薩道，無法成佛。
力行菩薩道，非常不容易，立願修行，定要深入法髓。
臺灣這波強震，天搖地動，瞬息之間無常，災難可怕。
害怕無常，立願弘法利生，如何利生？就是愛惜生命，
不只生命，更要愛惜慧命。

Cherish life and your wisdom life
Between sentient beings and the Buddha, lies the Bodhisattva path,
Without traversing the Bodhisattva path, one cannot become a Buddha.
Practicing the Bodhisattva path is extremely challenging,
To vow to practice, one must delve deeply into the essence of the Dharma.
This recent powerful earthquake in Taiwan shook the heaven and earth,
In an instant, impermanence strikes and disasters are terrifying.
Fearful of impermanence, we vow to propagate the Dharma and benefit sentient beings,
How to benefit sentient beings? It is by cherishing life,
Not only life, but also cherishing wisdom-life.

天文地理、宇宙空間等，森羅萬象之中都有佛法，
佛法奧妙無量學無止境，期待人人也是學無止境。
天天都進入宇宙天地間，是真空妙有、妙有真空，
心無煩惱，悠遊全世界。
白天聽著各地用愛付出，晚上看著各地傳回訊息，
所言離不開人類與慈濟。
